Many times I have been asked how to make a historical window more thermally adequate. Due to the thickness of an assembled double glazed unit the rabbets are too shallow to merge within the depths of the authentic stile and rail profiles of long ago. 

A solution for some might be to dress up a new window to look authentic. So to prove the concept I soldered up a leaded glass panel to fit into a Pella Casement Window. Those challenges overcome are explained within the video. We cemented the came as you would a historical build to look authentic, and with much thought seamlessly fixed the soldered lead glass panel to the Pella Casement Window.

We can make most any grid arrangement; big and little diamond shapes as well as any over/under lite combination.
